The Tabletop Takeaway

I've started a new podcast called The Tabletop Takeaway with my game design friends Ananda Guneratne and Trevor Muller-Hegel. We have 20-minute conversations about a game we just played (like chess, Kingdomino, Carcassonne, etc.) and talk about our takeaways as game designers. Film Score Fest 2020-2021 Recap

Thanks to the pandemic, it took us a long time to safely bring our orchestra together and have an in-person screening for Film Score Fest. But it finally happened! On Saturday, Sept. 4, hundreds of people gathered outside at Mears Park in St. Paul to watch 18 new short films. Our 16-musician orchestra scored the films live, led by conductor Kurt Hattenberger.

2020 Cover Album

I challenged my friends to do covers and remixes of my album 2020. Their songs included every style and instrument imaginable: 80s synths, resophonic guitar, Brazilian piano, and Javanese gamelan. It was a refreshing experience to hear my songs in a totally new light.
