In this video, ambient music wizard Brian Eno explains his creativity-provoking pack of cards, called Oblique Strategies.

These cards are kind of like useful fortune cookies. The idea is that you pull one randomly from the box when you’re stuck, like “Not building a wall but making a brick” or “Honour thy error as a hidden intention.”

Here’s a site that randomizes the sayings from all 5 Oblique Strategies editions. I’m definitely going to try them out in my own composing and producing.
